FALL IS IT---BMW
Oh so satisfying is the season of fall,
October is the best month of all.
My tan is top notch after weeks of sun.
The leaves brilliant with colorful fun,
Pumpkins , apples and trick or treat,
A flow of whimsical characters to meet,
Bikers invade; baseball is in full swing,
The cooler air welcomes open windows again.
Frisky spunk spreads like a woven tapestry,
Laughter and easy going moods set free.
My birthday begins a month long celebration,
Filled to the seams with autumn infestation.

------------------------------------------------------------------
Our hands have been with us our whole life they have been through and done MANY things (like typing this poem and holding my newborn daughters...) so next TAG IS...* YOUR HANDS*.

the artist paints a vision he sees
a sculpter sculpts, from a block a statue he frees

a writer writes words or a musical score
a musician plays a golfer yells fore

everyone everywhere is in need of their hands
talents all over the world all over this land

folks who use their hands every day
yet, without them how could you say

good to see you, hello, i love u or sorry to a friend
be hearing impaired, its a hassel, but its not the end

sign laungage is used all over this land
to me these are the most talented use of your hands

this one had so much potential but i hit a wrong button and lost most of my original poem i had typed,

Hope you don't mind me joining in here?

On The Beach

A deserted beach,
Footprints in the sand,
Just the two of us,
Walking together hand in hand.
A gentle breeze,
Water so clear and blue,
With white tipped waves,
Spending time alone here with you.
It's late afternoon,
And the sun is sinking low,
The air still warm,
No reason why we have to go.
Let's stay longer,
Maybe we can watch the sun set,
Sit here on the sand,
Our troubles for a moment, we'll forget.
Sitting on the shore,
With you so close by my side,
Watching the horizon,
And the slowly receding tide.
An orange red glow,
Slowly spreads across the calm sea,
The beauty of nature,
On display here for you and me...

nice nice tag Jaime . glad you jumped in .I love the beach , I live in a beach town. Your verse is excellent ... You will be hard to follow after but I will take a shot. gosh friends off the top of my head before noon time...

FRIENDS ---BMW
Friends have been sprinkled on my life,
A dusting of powdered sugar sweet.
Pals have appeared magically from strangers,
In the middle of the difficulties I meet.

Friends have faded too like dying flames,
Remain a fogged echo in the past.
They can sometimes come and go,
Sooner or later their part is recast.

I have buddies I’ll never meet face to face,
They are just typed words from a stranger far way.
And I have furry four legged friends,
My best friend can be a song filling that empty day.

And Yes OH how much I wish to be,
As good as all my friends have been to me.
With everyone just once every day
Even in the smallest possible way.

This isn't very poetic -- just some random thoughts that came bubbling to the surface at the prospect of a road trip.

Cram my scuffed Samsonite into the old gas-guzzler.
Glance intrepidly at same-same in rear-view.
Venture into unfamiliar territory on journey of discovery.
Heightened sense of awareness: Wonder how that got there?
Chin-wag with waitress in greasy spoon.
Toss map, ignore directions:
Get lost to find myself.

i liked it almost had a country song twang to it

rain puddles as it hits the ground
still mist soft rain without a sound

cool tag you are it rain on a hot summer day
raining so hard you had to say

looks like its raining cats and dogs
some rains help you sleep like a log

the rains of spring bring scented flowers
those brillant rainbows after april showers

those hard annoying rains may be the worse
having no rain at all would be a curse

ok next tag peace

and I believe the tag groups is slowly growing

Peace

Searching for peace,
Every single day,
When we think we’ve found it,
It just slips away.
Longing for peace,
In a world at war,
It’s impossible to see,
What we are fighting for.
Living for peace,
To set us all free,
Peace in this lifetime,
For you and for me…?

memories of my child hood so vivid so gay
bright sunshine big snow storms so different then today

sledding till we coulndt feel our hands and feet
gloves were uselessly wet and so was our seat

barefoot running those damn thistle weeds owe
climbing the barbed wire fence to chase the cows

climbing trees till the branch swayed
swimming hole leisures on a hotsummer day

memories of laughs smiles and yes tears
no one can take your memories throughout the years

next tag and welcome jamie nice poems

next tag vacation

which i am in dire need offfff i am still gonna create this soundproof primal scream closet it would work wonders i know it would
