In The Rain

Walking in the rain,
Getting soaked right through,
She missed the last bus,
Nothing else she can do.
Crying in the rain,
Washing away her tears,
She’s alone again,
Drowning in her fears.
Walking in the rain,
Shivering in the fading light,
Still a long way to go,
Let’s hope she makes it home tonight...
