Telephone

Waiting at home alone,
The telephone doesn’t ring at all.
Are you wasting your time?
Just hoping that he will soon call.
Sitting there all day,
Waiting for the telephone to ring,
Will he ever call you?
To him, do you mean anything?
Lying there all night,
Waiting for him to telephone you,
Are you wasting your time?
Somehow you know it’s true…
