It stops the world for you.
Symptoms increase like a swarm
Coming out of the blue.

More than tired, more than sleepy
It zaps the strength you had.
You find yourself so weepy
Because you feel so bad.

You find yourself in a spin
There is no middle ground.
The wall seems to close on in
As you are falling down.

Knowing this may come to past
Sometimes helps when it's here.
Sometimes it comes on too fast
And drops you on your ear.

But you keep on learning stuff
As each day comes and goes.
Learning to say when's enough
and the special word, "no"
