Soulmate

as you walk this narrow path with me
and hold my hand with gentle care

but I'm grateful that you're there
as I watch you watch me
as I feel your tender gaze

as I 'm trudging this steep mountain
and you're climbing by my side

but I'm grateful you're my guide
as you gently hold my hand
as you give strength to my mind

as I swim down this cold river
and you're swimming with me too

as you coax me on my way
as I draw my strength from you
