thanks so much

lol mrsD yes, I have made critter ones too

and yup, I have the doctor and lots of other characters too...
my husband would make up stories for the kids when they were young and he would entertain them with the puppets as they got older they would take a character of choice too and they would do these cute little bedtime stories that way

My oldest son usually picked Jack (of the Beanstalk fame) while youngest went more for the fireman, pirate etc
I would sometimes join in with one of the girly characters

I have also made a set of many of the Bible characters and wrote a puppet show called The Redemption Rap that we did at some schools and church kid events. Have an entire choir of Angels all with differently decorated robes for that

I'll take some photos of them too soon.

I love making things from felt, and also decorating stuff with fabric paints.

I love your hand puppets, Chemar.

I used hand puppets a lot with my two when they were younger. It's really great fun/therapy sometimes for everyone playing.

Felt. Now that is something really special. I want to make my own felt and dye it and then turn it into special wearable objects in a classy way, not a hippy way. It can be done, especially with felt.

I have numerous dreams. Some are from about 26 years ago, but I still dream them. 1. is to make better use of clay. 2. is to buy a stone cutter and polisher. 3. is to make felt hats using wood blocks.

I am not kidding!

Can sometimes buy the head sized blocks here second hand but they're pretty rare now. Not much use for felt hats in my climate is the problem. It's just that it's a texture that is so malleable. I love it.
