Twink...... Australia is usually lush and green given normal weather conditions. We have more rain forests here than deserts.

More rain forests than deserts in Oz? Whenever I think of the "outback," I picture something very dry and desert -- like here in Utah. Utah is the 2nd most arid state in USA, after Nevada.

We both love them, so my husband searched for more info like he often does....

the tree fern bush is such a magical place, don,t know if Dicksonia Australis survives fire like the gum trees

The residents of Marysville were finally allowed to go back to their homes a few days ago.
