[AshFreeze]

Under the cover of a mid-night sky,
I drift deeper into a restless sleep,
That can not be calmed even with the sweetest lullaby.
As my dreams, like stories, unfold;
My body awakens, my mind still in dreams deep.
The spirit of the Night Walker hath taken hold.

Now prowling through the night,
Like a creature of lost sleep.
My mind more restless;
I am now a Night Walker,
Moving through the vision of my dreams.

Few a night, I dread to close my eyes,
Not knowing where the dreams will take me.
But like a drug I drift off, my eyes too heavy,
And the Night Walker appears again.
To take me places I’ve only been, in my dreams.

nice to meet you and this poem describes the monsters that I fight some nights...
