Question aching joints and CSF leak

Hi everyone. I have a suspected CSF leak following a craniotomy and am waiting for results back from the liquid coming out of my nose. Since the leak started I have had really sore hands and wrists and general aching all over. It almost feels like arthritis. Could the CSF leak be the cause? Cant find anything on the net but it seems a big coincidence that the 2 things arrived at the same time

I have one of the best docs ever and she's dealt a lot with CSF leaks and she told me the last time I had one that the list of symptoms one can cause is so long you wouldn't believe it. So I would say that there is a good chance that is the cause of your symptoms.

Hi Kemaxwel,

Thank you - I dont feel quite so mad now. Latest thing is that my little fingers on either hand sometimes 'pop' as I am straightening them. Its not painful but feels really horrible. Hope your CSF leak is now fixed - I look back with nostalgia to earlier this year when I hadnt even heard of a CSF leak.
