Default New To Forum But Old To Issues!

I had a second spinal fusion in Nov/2008. Either this or the myelogram caused the leak. Severe issues other than spine caused PCP to become overwhelmed.
Everytime I tried to wean myself of meds...I was overwhelmed in severe pain. Back on them I gooooooooooo...
Needless to say 3 yrs later and I have been given allergy meds, ear infection meds, sinus meds, and chronic pain meds. Recently told him pain meds are not working and he send me to pain specialist.
The pain doc gives me injection to the neck after lengthy discussions due to my phobia because of my spinal issues. Three days later...my symptoms increase 10-fold.
He wants to do another on Feb 1, 2012 and I made an appt to see him first to tell him of my visits to ER because of symptoms. Leaking from eye, ears, nose....SEVERE headaches...ELECTRIC shocks in the brain and intense pressure which is causing BP of 200/100...so they add another med for high blood pressure! This is crazy!
The ER doc says it might be leak so I tell the pain doc and he says no way. BUT..he did get me into a neurosurgeon that was booked up for 3months for the next week. Now, this is Thursday and the appt for neuro is Tuesday...and I am going to unload!
I am tired of being misdiagnosed and treated like a stupid patient. I finally know what my issue is and I want to know HOW do I address this with him without being too aggressive??????????????
Any suggestions? DESPERATE!!!!!!
