Default Not sure if I have a leak

Hi everyone,

I'm new here and hoping to get some information from people who know their stuff. I just had endoscopic sinus surgery last Thursday (one week ago). Everything seemed fine until the following Monday when I returned to work. I woke up with a stiff neck (it's stiff at the base of my skull) but I thought maybe I slept wrong. I also notice that I had a runny nose but only from one side, but I thought that might be because the other side was too clogged. The next day (Tuesday) I noticed that I had a salty taste in my mouth all day. That's when I started looking up CSF leaks.

It's now Thursday. I feel pretty good when I wake up in the morning, but as the day progresses my neck gets more and more stiff, and my whole skull starts to throb and feel like my head is going to explode (also my jaw gets really stiff too). By the end of the day I feel like I have to lay down because the pressure in my skull is too much. The salty taste still hasn't gone away. It's always there. But the leaking from my nose stopped (though I'm very congested so that may be why).

I called my doctor's office and told them about my neck and the salty taste and they didn't seem concerned. I was just wondering what other people's symptoms were and if you guys think I have anything to worry about. I see my doctor on Monday but I'm just worried he may just blow it off like it's nothing. Thanks in advance for your help!
