Hi, I have had a warm fluid leak feeling in my ear and occasionally right side of neck for about 8 months. I went to the ENT because I also have had echoing 4 times. I had an MRI with contrast, hearing tests, 3 specialized hearing tests and today a Cat Scan. The MRI shows a lipoma, which apparantly is a fatty tumor the size of a pea on my brain stem. Going to the Neurologist for that in 2 weeks. But, all the specialist so far said to not worry.
My Question: Does a CSf leak feel warm? They all say I should not feel the leak in my ear, as you don't have sensation there.... 2 Times, I had severe sinus headache, and then my sinuses drained quickly. I felt the warm liquid go in my ear. One of the times, I could taste watery salty liquid in the back of my throat all day, and the warm liquid in my ear all day. My doctor gave me a speciman cup to try to catch that liquid coming out of my nose to see if it is cerebral fluid. I only get sinus headaches, and when the fluid is leaking in my ear, I have no sinus pressure. So, Is the fluid really warm. I really am feeling it, even though they say I should not be able to.... Thank you for any help. |
