I had a CSF leak after removal of a pituitary tumour (through the nose) I was very aware of the CSF leak as it dripped out my right nostril or down my throat depending on head position.
I had surgery to repair CSF leak utilising skin from both my leg and inside of nose. The dripping out of my nose and down my throat has certainly stopped but I sometimes get moistness in both nostrils, which does not drip out, and I feel like I have to swallow quite a bit as if something is at the back of my throat, this substance would not uncontrollably run down my throat I do have to swallow! Is this just post operative mucus (3 weeks later) or could this bewen a slow CSF leak? |
