Help Frontal Temporal Dementia/Is there a Cure?

I'm a first time user and I'm so happy that I found this site. I just wrote an extremely long thread about my mother who has had dementia for almost 10 years. I gave a list of background info, her recent blood test results. I'm too tired to rewrite it but I will just write the questions and next time I'll tell everyone the events which have led up to today....it's a mapless journey and quite bouncy!

Question #1: Do you know of a layman's book on "How to Read Blood Tests and how to get the number to OPTIMAL HEALTH (NOT the ranges that they post which are gathered by people on the S.A.D. (Standard American Diet).
We eat 85%-90% raw, mostly organic produce, chicken, buffalo burgers, eggs, raw nuts/seeds, organic green food, Flora probiotic/Udo's 3-6-9 Oil/DHA and Carlson's or Nordic Natural Fish Oil.(last draft I wrote all her blood test levels to see if you could help me.) She's quite healthy except her B-12 and Folate are just over range and C-Reactive Protein is a 7.3 (0-4.9),/homocysteine is 7.7, a few years ago was 6.2. Working on Vit. D, now 35, Hemoglobin-11.9 just under range.

Question#2: Cure for eczema. I know that the condition comes from the intestinal tract. Using Flora Probiotic but may have to use Flora's Super 8 instead of Advanced Adult because of loose stools. Just started to give her organic brown rice. I was staying away from all grains for past couple of months per Dr. Mercola. (hard to digest) I use all oils: Calendula, Aloe Vera, Jojoba. We stay away from gluten, wheat etc., no refined sugar , we have an excellent whole food diet., distilled water, Using a blood clease by Flora/Floressence. Do you have any other solutions to this itch she's had since the last 8 years?

Question#3o you know of a scientist or a researcher who thinks "outside of the box" and believes that I could get my mother's Frontal Temporal Dementia to reverse itself? She is in very good health, chews her food well and besides losing all speech except for holding notes like a singer and laughing when engaged by me or hears loud noises or watches Lawrence Welk's dancers/drives in car and laughs, is still aware of her surroundings and knows me and my father (we're with her 24/7). My mother, Janet, started with a huge change in behavior/loss of interests, not able to communicate feelings etc. Her dementia was one of routines, hyperactivity, loss of inhibitions, loved to eat cake (sugar), would store it away in beginning , strong will. Now, loss of all balance..I still walk her for 40 min./day a lot of patience and strength (must support or she'll fall forward), like a Parkinson's, she walks a half step at a time. I'm so grateful I have her still . She was my tennis partner, my best friend and my sister in one! Plus, I took her off of in-line skates at 75!! That should have been on "OPRAH" She was amazing blading down hills at 72 years young!

THANK YOU FOR ANY HELP OR GUIDANCE YOU MAY HAVE. THE ROAD OF DEMENTIA CAN BE ISOLATING AND CONFUSING. I WOULD LIKE TO HELP OTHERS ONE DAY AVOID WHAT MY FATHER AND I HAD TO EXPERIENCE.
