Hello All,
31 months ago a dentist injured my right lingual nerve with an injection of articaine for a root canal procedure. I have had a permanent paresthesia/dysesthesia since that time in my tongue, right side with burning pain and other horrible sensations. Does anyone know of any herbs or natural supplements that might help with the pain and/or actually regenerate this damaged nerve? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. |

Hi acudoc,
I'm so sorry you are going through this. I've had several patients that have had this happen. Some times the pain subsides on it's own and other times patients tell me they've had it for years. Regenerating the nerve is difficult because it is actually the bundle of nerves that are affected on the one side of the head and they communicate with each other. So different sensations and pain occur at different times. Do you have a Naturopathic physician that you could consult with? Perhaps you would find this site helpful: http://www.eclecticphysician.com/arc...on=Nbr&Nbr=120 Bryanna Quote:
