Confused Bad Dentistry?

Over a year ago I had a root canal due to an infection and later had my teeth removed and had a bridge put in its place. I believe that infection was never solved because the pain from the bridge was immediate and still last to this day(over a year later). Does anyone know why this is happening and/or if I should look further in to this dentist not doing her job correctly? Is there any way to find out if this dentist did in fact put the dental bridge on top of an infection that was already there?

Hi dpittm,

Could you possibly post xrays of this area? It is possible that the original infection is still lingering and/or that another tooth in the bridge is infected. You should not have any pain with this bridge. So something is definitely not healthy.

Hi d,

I'm having a hard time opening these files. I will try on a different computer at work tomorrow.

Hi d,

I opened the x-rays but unfortunately the quality is not clear enough to read them. The anatomy is very diffuse and not diagnostic. Is there another way for you to post them.... perhaps with a jpeg file?
