My husband had 3 teeth pulled from the upper left side of his mouth. This was done in March 2012;developed 2 dry sockets in the back pulled teeth.Had site scraped for bone fragments 2 wks after the original pulling & has had constant pain since March.Oral surgeon discharged him saying everything was healed properly & didn't know why the pain was still there;referred us to a neurosurgeon thinking it might be nerve pain.Neurosurgeon prescribed an anti-seisure medicine which he cannot take due to severe side effects. Has to have MRI done next week to see if anything is pressing on facial nerve.
The pain is severe and constant, what could be causing this problem? |
