This dentist was removing my fractured tooth and he lost grip on instrument and punctured the palate. This is second day and I have severe swelling from the eye to the chin on left side. Now that I look I see 2 round pus pockets on roof of mouth. I have waves of severe achey pain and to the point where I must cry. I feel fevered and I am having chills. He started me on amoxicillin and he gave me 12 vicodin and I had to take 6 thus far today and could have used more than that. Is this normal? When there is a puncture in palate should I be watching for certain signs? Very comcerned. Tha pain is excrusiating at times.
