Default tooth adjacent upper wisdom tooth pain

Hello, I had my upper and lower wisdom tooth on the left side removed 8 days ago now I am having a consistent throbbing pain in the tooth next to upper wisdom extraction. The tooth is a little sore when I bite down but on pain level scale I would but it at a 1. However the pain that I feel in my sinuses and throbbing can get to a 6 or seven. I notice that when I push against the tooth it is loose and it sometimes feel like it pricking into the gums. The extraction sites are healing nicely no pain no dry socket, and only the lower was impacted when I had the oral surgery. I am taking 800 mg of ibuprofen and oxycodone and rinsing 4 Times a day with warm salt water. It's somewhat managing the pain and throbbing but never gets rid of it completely. What do you think could be going on? I am going to new Orleans in 3 weeks and don't want to be drugged up on pills the whole time. Thanks for your help.
