I chipped both front teeth. The nerve was exposed on one and i had to have a root canal and the other was chipped but not as bad, bonding was placed. Should i get both teeth crowned or just one? really need advice please help..

Hi CR,
The most esthetic and less invasive option would be to have a porcelain veneer put on the bonded tooth and a porcelain crown put on the other one. Veneers only require slight cutting back of the tooth whereas a crown requires more tooth removal. This way the dental lab can match the esthetics so they both look the same. If you are not too concerned about the esthetics being exact, then just crown the one and leave the other one bonded. Hope this info helps... Bryanna |
