Wasn't sure where to go for answers since this just came up today but I had a gingivectomy last Wednesday and today i noticed there was a red spot protruding out from my gum and it was bleeding and a little sore. I had my wisdom teeth removed back in may and i was left with excess gum over my back molars, which is the reason for the gingivectomy, I was hoping it was just maybe a bone working its way out or something.
I have a picture but cant post it! |

Hi unorigin,
This could be a few different things that can be remedied The only way to know for sure is to see the dentist who did the gingivectomy. Bryanna Quote:
