Default atypical face pain

my neurochirurg doctor recommends me to implant electrode in my head (motor cortex stimulation).
that is after trying all madicines including a madical kanavis.
i am 60+, a female, suffers from a chronical pain in my jaw 5 years.
is there anybody give me an advise?
