Confused Dental issue mystery

Hi,
I have had an on going dental problem now for 4 months. Had my back right molar extracted and since then still having much pain. My oral surgeon said it all came out in one piece but he did have to do some extensive surgery and placed a gelfoam packing in socket to help with clotting since I do have clotting problems. Since then it has been a nightmare! It turned into a dry socket and took 5 wks to fully close. Still having pain and was put on antibiotics (amoxicillian) 2 times. Pain seemed to get under control until about a wk after the last antibiotic was taken and bang, pain back. Now I have just started another, stronger antibiotic called clindamycin, 300mg 4x a day for 10 days. I have seen numerous dentist and specialist and they say it's probably an infection because nothing shows up on all 4 ct scans! I saw another specialist (endodontic) last week and he did a 3d cone beam ct scan and was the one to put me on this last antibiotic. He is sending it out to a radiologist to read. In the meantime I was told the 2 teeth in front of the extraction site, which both have had previous root canals look good. My fear is that this could be an infection that is just spreading. I now have a swollen gland on that side and an earache and feel just miserable everyday. This endodontic did say I may need to have the site opened and cleaned out of bacteria/infection. Question, I believe an infection does not show up even on the most state of the art ct scan so how can they be sure the infection is not coming from an old root canal tooth in front and leaking into the extraction site??? Help, this pain has been going on so long now, I'm running out of faith with dentists and specialists. Even saw an all natural dentist who suggested ozone therapy! Ok, thanks for any help or suggestions, it would be greatly appreciated.
