Default severe pain and locked jaw after extraction

PLEASE can someone help me, I got a bottom left wisdom tooth extracted 7 days ago, as soon as i got home I needed pain relief for what felt like an extremely bad headache and sore ear. The next morning the pain was awful, i took Co code lol, and ibuprofen but it only helped a little, , to cut a long story short, I seen a dentist at the hospital who said that because the extraction was difficult ( over half an hour) that I may have a slipped disc and TMD. I was given dicflonac and codeine. However these only last for 4 hrs, then the pain starts, and by pain I mean I feel like iv knitting needles driven into my ear, the pain radiates to my temple and my neck and i get a burning sensation in my mouth, u can't open my jaw, not even enough to get a straw in, I'm so down, I can't work, u count the hours until I can take pain relief, what's wrong, why am I not getting Even a litter better. Do I need tests?

Maz,

You should go back to see the dentist who extracted the tooth asap. What you are experiencing is definitely not typical. Your situation cannot be dealt with online as you need to be seen clinically by that dentist.
