Default Wisdom teeth pulled 8 days ago, teeth shifting?

Over a week ago i had 4 impacted wisdom teeth pulled. They weren't bothering any other teeth but wanted to have them taken care of while I'm young. I have had no troubles, and my incisions have healed well. But a few days post op I noted my bottom gums were sore in the front. I expected them to be sore from having so many things in there at once. But it hasn't gone away! One tooth in particular hurts and feels like it is cutting through the front side of my gum. My permanent retainer is still there so my teeth can't be shifting much, but I'm concerned why this is still hurting so bad. I can see extra white lines on my gums too. What should I do? Anyone else had this?
