hi,
im new here but have had loads of info from the site! i had the first molar extracted on friday at 2pm (uk time) im now 81 hours post extraction most of the swelling has gone down and im not in pain just feel a little tender and that i need to use a babies teether ring! however part of the gum looks to have split next to the tooth next door and it feels to be covering a lot of this tooth im worried about infection as i cant get to clean the tooth under the swollen gum, will this subside and shrink as i know it not long since i had the tooth out |

Hi loubella,
Your swollen gum may be an infection brewing. It is best to see your dentist for an evaluation. Bryanna Quote:
