Default Fistula

I saw my perodontist re: fistula. He sent me to endodontist for his opinion because they are unable to trace the infection. Endondist told me he would speak to perio and perio would get back to me. 3 weeks later when I had still heard nothing I called perio. It is now 6 weeks later and he has still not taken any of my calls, instead he has just left messages on my home telephone machine when I have asked him to call me at work.

When I left his office he had said he was 99% certain he would be extracting the tooth and I would have dentist make 3 tooth bridge. His phone message indicated I should make appt with dentist to have bridge made but he also made mention of bone graft which was never discussed and this is why I want to speak to him. It has now been 6 weeks & I have still not been able to speak with him. (I have been his patient for many years)

I am concerned after reading some of these posts about bone loss damage. How quickly does that occur? Also should I be taking antibiotics?
