Default Root canal tooth + cracked question

Hi Bryanna,

A root canal was done on one of my tooth 10 years ago.

I think I cracked the tooth or it has changed over time.

Let me describe how it looks at surface of this tooth:

Previously (I think)-
Tooth (left), Filling (middle portion), Tooth (right) - everything was tight

Currently-
Tooth (left), a very small gap, Filling, Tooth (right)

I'm concerned of the gap.
-Should I be concerned?
-What are my options? Can the dentist fill the gap then put a crown over it? or do they need to dig a hole, fill gap, then crown? or i don't have any choice but to remove and do implant?

Thanks.
