The endodontist cannot do anything for you to make the infection go away. He will most likely suggest to re treat both teeth or perform surgical root canals called Apicoectomies. Re treating or doing the apicoectomies will cause further inflammation and infection. Neither of those procedures will "cure" the infection. Unfortunately removal of those teeth is inevitable.
The choice is yours. I am just informing you of what is likely to be suggested to you by the endodontist. It would be wise to discuss replacement options with your general dentist prior to removing those teeth so that you are not walking around with two empty spaces there.
