Default Wisdom Tooth Anxiety

First of all I want to thank you all for all your posts. I've read a lot prior to signing up and it's been very helpful.

I have A LOT if anxiety about my partners healthcare. I'm not sure why but I do.

Recently he had his 4 impacted wisdom teeth extracted (just like I had in the past) and it's been incredibly challenging for me. I did a lot of reading in preparation and we did everything we could but there were still complications.

The first week I was up every night first with anxiety and then with anxiety + his pain. He had them extracted on a Tuesday under deep sedation (just like me) no antibiotics were given just regular Tylenol and ibuprofen 600mg. Things were ok but like I said we kept waking up in the night with severe pain and I told him to go in Friday to make sure things were ok but he didn't of course. What can I do... I work.

Saturday was unbearable there was some yellow discard but no fever just pain and of course it was in the evening by the time the walkins were closed. The dentist hadn't returned my call we want to one of the emerges and were given clindamycin 7days and Tylenol 3s. Things got better but we were again up in te night.

I didn't go to work on Monday, hadn't slept. We went to the dentist got some dry socket packing. He wasn't happy that my partner was on T3s or on the heavy duty antibiotics. He recommended only 5 days of antibiotics and to try to work off the T3s I think he's very conservative with medicine which is ok. He felt the yellow discharge was mostly dry socket not an infection at all. He gave my partner a weeks follow up appointment.

A day later my partner felt. Bony protrusion that was sharp in the upper right. I said it was probably a bone splinter but he should call the dentist. He did this time and the dentist looked said everything was great and sent him home.

A day after that my partner accidently spat out the lower right packing but said there wasn't any increased pain. Again he showed initiative to call the dentist and the dentist said if there was no pain it's fine he would see him next Tuesday to take out the lower left packing.

Today is Saturday Andy partner says there's pain when he moved his mouth a certain way. He's not sure if this is new or always there. It's a stabbing pain that goes about 8 on a 1-10 scale but only under his right eye and only when he moves his mouth a certain way to the left. Other than this movement it seems the pain isn't too bad. He mostly takes ibuprofen 400mg thèse days and at some points nothing.

Should I be concerned? What is this? I'm so tired f all the anxiety this had caused us I'm on anti anxiety meds so I csn sleep at night I worry about him so much. We can't see the detest until Tuesday but I have to work I'm the only one working since my partner doesn't have a Job yet were young. What could this be? Should we do another round of antibiotixs? But alread I'm so scared of the clinda that I make him take probiotics every single day and lots of water...

Please help a very very anxious spouse. Thank you and I'm so sorry for this.
