Default question to Brianna Tooth cyst

First of all i want to tell you how grate it is that you are replying to peoples issues and providing your knowlege to help hem and make better decisions.

I have a problem and i am sure you could help me out on how i should move.
3 years ago i had an face injury wich caused me a broken nose, extreme swelling and some kind of tooth ache on my upper front teeth (when i was putting presure on.like me nerves were hurting) i didn t to anything at the begining cause i decided to give some time for the injury to heal.. and it did the pain on teeth left within couple of weeks.
It remained only on one thooth. think its the 21 (upper first left).
I want to mention that the pain feeling i have is not a unberable pain i see people getting when they have tooth ache, i never had one and my other theeth are in preety good shape.so mine is something more like a pressure feeling ,very low pain but constant.
So i went to the dentist i had then and told her the story.
she tried to take some x ray s and told that she thought she could see a cyst(not very clear on pic). and then did a root canal.she drilled through the tooth until she could reach the cyst and cleaned it.I was going for a month rwice a week so she could reclean it an put antibiotic as she told me.
After that she said it should be ok and so closed the canal.During all these process she was asking me if the pain had changed and my answer was no and then told me to wait a little cause now it had to heal.
After some weeks seeing that nothing was changing i went back and she told me that i should do a Panoramic X and reffered me to see an oral surgeon cause i would need to get an apicoectomy.
i didn t went to do it cause i wanted to find one i could trust and during these i talking with friends and asking they maybe suggest me someone, a friend of me told me that he has had cysts and done apicoectomy which the first time failed and had recently re-done it and was on the healing process, so to be very carefull were to do it..
So i left it for a while cause it wasn t affecting me so much , until i would decide what to do.
Some months ago i developed some health issues which i have not found an answer after going to several doctors. my problems are dizzines, headaches a weird low-pain sensation if touching some spot in my face and back pain.
Incidentally my mother had told my problems to her dentist who told all this can be connected with my tooth-cyst.
I informed me pretty nuch in the last days in the web about dental issues and since reading all these about root canals and cavitations i am preety sure i want to extract my tooth than do an apicoectomy.
As i was putting things down all these made a lot of sense to me.. i went some years back were i had my wisdom theeth extracted (all 4 at once) and a while after i started getting tonsillitis 1-2 times a year.Which became to 5 times a year after the RCT, a very weird thing for an adult person.I had to do tonsil surgery almost a year ago.. and some months after that i developed my other health problems.
I am not asking for a diagnosis from you ,just your thoughts.
I have to definately take care of the RCT-cyst but my considers after all these info i have received the last days about dental health are
to extract the tooth correctly and getting the infected area cleaned, which is not the easiest thing to find in my area.
the other thng is that i really would like to know if there is a case of having cavitations from my wisdom extractions.
I would really like if you could share your opinion about implants.

sorry for the long story and my English, it s not my native language
i hope you will get the time to bring some light into my questions

Hi jimmy-rider,

I will re post your questions and reply in bold type.

<<I have to definately take care of the RCT-cyst but my considers after all these info i have received the last days about dental health are

YES, I AGREE WITH YOU THAT YOU SHOULD REMOVE THAT RCT TOOTH. IT IS A SOURCE OF CHRONIC INFECTION, SO THE SOONER YOU REMOVE IT THE BETTER. HOWEVER, SEE AN ORAL SURGEON FOR THE EXTRACTION, NOT A GENERAL DENTIST.

<<the other thng is that i really would like to know if there is a case of having cavitations from my wisdom extractions.>>

THERE ARE MANY DIAGNOSED, MISDIAGNOSED OR UNDIAGNOSED CASES OF CAVITATIONS OCCURRING AFTER WISDOM TOOTH REMOVAL. MOST OF THE TIME THE CAVITATION OCCURS DUE TO A LONG TERM CHRONIC INFECTION THAT HAS TRAVELED FURTHER THAN VISIBLE AND/OR FROM A LESS THAN THOROUGH SCRAPING OF THE SOCKET AFTER THE REMOVAL OF THE TEETH.

<<I would really like if you could share your opinion about implants.>>

I THINK DENTAL IMPLANTS ARE A GOOD REPLACEMENT OPTION UNDER CERTAIN CIRCUMSTANCES AND WITH CERTAIN PEOPLE. THEY ARE A RISKY OPTION WHEN REPLACING A ROOT CANALED OR SEVERELY INFECTED TEETH AS THE BONE MAY NOT BE MICROSCOPICALLY HEALTHY.

DENTAL IMPLANTS ARE ALSO RISKY IN PEOPLE WITH CHRONIC HEALTH CONDITIONS INCLUDING VARIOUS AUTO IMMUNE DISEASES LIKE DIABETES OR SJOGRENS, LYMES, ANY BONE DISEASE, EVEN PERIODONTAL DISEASE. EVEN THOSE WHO TAKE CERTAIN MEDICATIONS DAILY FOR ALLERGIES OR CERTAIN HEART CONDITIONS... ANY MEDS THAT CAUSE THE SALIVARY SECRETIONS TO LESSON ARE AT RISK FOR IMPLANT FAILURE.
