Default Filling material

I have a small cavity need to be filled. Anyone knows any healthy material that is BPA free ? My dentist uses Synergy D6, is it good and BPA and Bis-DMA free?

Hi vichen,

All restorative materials used in dentistry have some degree of toxic components to them. Whether it be the contents that make up the material or the adhesives or bonding agents that are used to adhere the restoration to the tooth. There are really no "healthy" restorative dental materials.

Although it is important to keep all toxic burdens to a minimum, everyone has their own unique biochemistry which means what might be reactive with one person, will not necessarily be reactive with another.

So to know what your individual sensitivities are, you can have a blood test to check for bio-compatibility of dental materials prior to having the dental work done or you could have a physical reaction test called kinesiology. This is a non invasive muscle testing that is frequently done by holistic or biological dentists and the results can be effective in most people.
