I've been using CO for probably 10 some yrs and have not had dental issues in all these years. OPC's are doing a good job too in my mouth. |

Here is one receipe for CO toothpaste. It's not the one I use, but it's online, I make up mine with MSM as there are MSM toothpastes I've used and I do use MSM for pain reduction in my body.

Caroline,
Is your TP similar to this one described in the link? What msm do you use? About how much? Why do you use it? I have done a variety of things over the years. Right now, I use Biotene most days and a tiny bit of baking soda and water a few days a week. Need to get back into the groove again. I don't like Flouride either. |

Reading other online TP receipes, I added a fair amount of baking soda (non aluminum) to my mix yesterday and omgoodness, talk about cleaner/smoother teeth. I will do this with future batches and just ordered a new supply of "pure" baking soda.

The merits of CO continue to come to my attention daily. From the mouth to dementia.

Every time I run low on my home made CO toothpaste, I notice such a negative difference in my mouth health. I just made up another fresh batch yesterday and know this is the best way for mouth and dental health. Base of CO, MSM powder (optional) red mill baking soda and drops of clove oil is what I use for my toothpaste.

My dear 18 yr old grandgirl let their dentist use fluoride gel bath on her beautiful teeth and she's ended up with dental fluorosis....if you ingest fluoride, that will do it... I could say more but I better stop. What it does to teeth, think about what it's doing to our bones.

caroline2,
I agree that fluoride should be avoided as it is a by product of toxic waste and has no healthy benefit in the human body. However, you cannot get dental fluorosis from occasional topical applications of fluoride at the dentists office. I am not condoning the topical applications... I'm just saying the person has to be using or ingesting more fluoride than that to end up with fluorosis. Another way for a person to have fluorosis is if they ingested fluoride via their water, food, vitamins, or meds as a young child. And that goes for a pregnant woman who ingested those things as she would then pass the fluoride onto her fetus. Bryanna Quote:

Bryanna, maybe my daughter and grandgirl didn't tell me the whole story on just how many fluoride baths the dentist has been doing. I know they are fanatic about NOT drinking tap water as it was fluoridated in 2009, so maybe they didn't tell me everything. They know how holistic I am...she definitely has mild to medium fluorosis.
