Thanks Bryanna. Luckily the swelling and soreness has subsided some - I think the moist heat and Aleve helped, as things have been more tolerable today (so far).

I don't mean to be in such a panic mode, but I am so physically, mentally and emotionally drained from this whole ordeal. For the 1st time in my life I have dark circles under my eyes from lack of sleep from over the past month+. In any case, thank you for your suggestions.

Okay. I called Dr. L's office and they did not say anything about being gone for vacation this week. I did not leave a message yet because I wanted to ask if you had any suggestions about how I could impress upon the fact that this is somewhat urgent that I get in this week, without coming off as demanding ....

I am going to call my "ex" dentists office 1st thing tomorrow and (as you suggested) see if they can email me the latest x-rays of the upper right - maybe all of the latest ones they have. I will be neutral as you mentioned, and just tell them I am seeking another opinion due to continuing problems on my upper right (not mentioning the extraction, of course).

Most all the other ones work through the local Hospital, and from calling them before, there's a 2-3 week wait ....

I'll wait to hear from you before I call Dr. L's office back. Thank you.
