Default Is my extraction site healing well?

I've just got my wisdom tooth extracted a week ago. I attached a photo of my extraction site 7 days after the surgery. Is it considered healing well. I have no pain nor irritation. Please advise. Thanks in advance

Hi Sonny,

Thanks for posting the picture. The site looks to be healing okay from the angle of this photo. Have you been back to the oral surgeon for a post operative check? It's always wise to do that to make sure all is going well as pain or no pain is not always clear indicators of a dental problem.

In case you were not aware, I just want to mention that on the molar in front of the extraction site it looks like a piece of the filling has broken out and there may be decay occurring. So it would behoove you to see your general dentist for a check up, especially if it's been awhile since you've done that.

Hope all goes well for you!
Bryanna

Thank you for the reply Bryanna. Yes I went to the surgeon to have to stiches removed yesterday, and she tell me it's healing. It's just that when I look into the extraction site, I can see brown-ish thing, not sure if it's my jaw bone and it keep me worried because I'm afraid I might get osteonecrosis of the jaw due to the exposed jaw bone.

About the filling on the molar, I think it's just the angle of the photo make it looks like it's fell off. I had root canal done on that tooth and I'm getting a crown done as soon as the extraction healed better. Thanks for your concerns
Sorry for my English and have a good day!
