Default Lower Right Wisdom Hell, Following Extraction

Hello Everyone.

i've been doing a few searches and you guys kept popping up so i thought it might be a a good place to ask.

I had my Lower Right Wisdom tooth removal as a surgical procedure on the 2nd December. It was impacted part way in my gum but i'm told came out with no issues.

Following this, on the Friday - I was slightly swollen on my face and running a fever, i also had a vile taste and smell coming out of my mouth. I called the hospital and went back, and it was cleaned out, and i was given Mithrodonzale antiboitics on a 5 day course, and told to do Salt Water Rinises after every meal - I wasn't told anything about Salt Water on my discharge when it was taken out.

I 've been in a lot of pain following there, and constantly on the phone to the hospital. They wanted the Meds to be completed before looking at me again.

The meds were completed on Wednesday, and now on friday, the pain has finally subsided to the point where i don't need to take pain killers. I'm not eating hard foods yet,, I'm still on Shakes and Mash potato.

My issue is that the clot at the extraction site has not gone, theres still a gap and my gum hasn't started to heal over it. Should this still be happening 10 days after the wisdom extraction.

I'm going back to the hospital tommorrow on my insistant but i'd like some thoughts before I go because i'm not confident in the care i'm getting. I'm also now passing out, i'm guessing to the low blood suger i've got and pressure from the complete shift in my diet. (I've not been back into work either since this happened.)

Does anyone have any expereince in the clot not going away, because everything i've read indicates that it should go White then leave after a few days.

I'm a 28yr old Female.
