Default Tooth problems or trigeminal neuralgia ?

I had my tooth #2 extracted in March of 2014 , and tooth # 5 extracted in December of 2014, because I thought the pain I had was from these teeth. Both were root canaled many years ago, and Bryanna you were helping me with your answers to get trough after the extraction with some problems. Before the extractions the general dentist didn't see anything on the x rays, but because the intermittent pain I was having trough few years, I had those teeth pulled. The extractions sites healed. But I still have some pain come and go, and my neurologist think that this is maybe a neuralgia ( and that is never was actually a tooth ache ), because the pain comes and goes and it's on a different part of my right side upper gums ( sometimes in the back other times more towards the front ) and the pain is migrating, even on the same day. I just had a dental cat scan, and the OS doesn't see any problems in my gums, sinuses or bones on the right upper side.
What could it be ? a neuralgia or something else ?
Thank you for your answer in advance.
