Hi faithhope,
The insights that I can offer you are not that of a physician or a dentist. So please keep that in mind. It sounds to me like your "mystery illness" has many root causes and the dental problems that you had and continue to have are hugely contributing factors to your ill health. But what else is going on? Do you have periodontal disease or tooth decay? Do you still have root canaled teeth in your mouth and/or mercury fillings? Do you have other large or deep restorations on your teeth? Did you ever have orthodontia? Do you clench or grind your teeth? Do you have a known TMJ disorder? What type of testing have you had done to determine your gut health? Do you have leaky gut, SIBO, candida overgrowth, other dysbiosis of your intestines? What type of blood and saliva testing have you had done to determine your health profile relating to nutrient or hormone deficiencies, heart and other organ health, inflammation, hormone imbalances, anemia, thyroid issues ...? What is your diet like? Do you eat processed or fast foods, drink soda+ and consume sugar or fake sugar substitutes? How well do you deal with stress and anxiety? Do you experience allergy or intolerance symptoms like hives, welts, edema, headaches, brain fog or stomach/body aches when you eat certain foods or when you are exposed to certain elements in the environment? Do you have any known auto immune disorders or a mast cell activation disorder? In my opinion ... in conjunction with your previously messed up dentistry, you have additional "reasons" why you are not well and why you continue to have jaw bone infections. Even if the original root cause of your ill health was dental related, which is quite possible, as time has gone on you have developed other contributing factors. You said you see an ND. Who is injecting the oral ozone shots? What is the ND's diagnosis of your ill health besides your obvious dental infections? Is your other physician a conventional practitioner? Are you familiar with Functional Medicine and how those practitioners explore beyond conventional testing to find the root causes of ill health? They usually delve further than an ND will. To find an FM doctor you could go to: Institute for Functional Medicine Is your dentist a conventional dentist? What type of dentist performed the cavitation surgeries? Are you familiar with Biological Dentistry and again how differently they approach a patients dental and overall health? I know lots of questions ... but your ongoing infections and ill physical health have other causes in addition to your oral health. It would not be unusual for you to have a reprieve in your physical symptoms after the oral surgeries as they could have lowered the inflammatory and infection crisis you were having at that time. The fact that there is more infection brewing in the jaw bone and your physical symptoms have returned, indicates multiple causes may be contributing to the whole picture. I would be interested in an online look at the background of the dentist you are seeing and the dentist who did your cavitational surgery. Also the Naturopath. If you are comfortable in disclosing their names to me, you could do so in a personal message to me. I would not disclose or share that information anywhere else but in the PM with you nor would I contact either of them for any reason. But that is up to you if you feel comfortable doing that.
