Default swollen jaw, 4 root canals

On September 6th, I got a sharp pain in my tooth after eating. It was quick hit and subsided after some time. I woke up a few days later and got a throbbing pain that only felt better after ibuprofen and cold water rinses. The throbbing intense pain last for a little over 2 weeks.

On the day I visit the dentist the toothache stops replaced with swollen jaw. I had a loose soft filling(I got this at age 12) that was accumulating decay. I had 4 root canal treatments and sealed with provisional filling. I'm suppose to come back in about 10-14 days to have it drilled again with antibiotics.

Today, my jaw is still the same size. Tender, but not too painful to press on. The inside of my mouth is fine no abscess, toothache and provisional filling looks fine. I have a Godfather going on that I'm not fond of. I have some nurofen, ice, and soft foods until I'm competely finished with the treatment. I'm in Germany and its very difficult to get prescription and drugs here in general so any home remedies would be helpful.

I'm not big on sugary snacks, but I do like chocolate and wine. I have chocolate maybe once every two weeks. Wine once every 2 weeks. Now I won't have either for a month because of my teeth so I guess that good.

Will my face calm down anytime soon? I'm 22 and insecure and my jaw is making me feel really ugly lol
