I am an experienced dental surgeon and 12 months ago I placed an implant in upper bicuspid region. The patient has had severe and intractable facial and upper jaw pain ever since even after the implant was removed. Various pain specialists and surgeons are not able to tell me what has caused the pain or what went wrong as it was a simple straightforward case. The patient is presently seeking legal advice.
Has anyone heard of this type of pain before? Is it common as I had never heard of it before in the upper jaw. It is quite common and well documented in the lower jaw |
