Default Sinus Communication After Widsom Teeth Removal

Hello,

I know this has been discuss a lot on here but i'm concerned. I had my wisdom teeth out on 9/18. On 9/27 I noticed a sharp pain when air moved past the extraction site. I also noticed that my mouth wash was going into the my sinuses.

I plan on going back to the surgeon but was wondering if this would heal on its own. I can drink without water going into it. I would have to force water to go into the opening, which i think is small. The issue is just certain words cause a pressure and air to hit it and causes me sharp pain. Otherwise, there is just a minor dull pain in the area that is kept at bay with ibuprofen. I've read the horror stories and am freaking out! Any advice is greatly appreciated.
