I've been working with Strontium for some yrs off and on, I don't take a lot of calcium or eat a lot of dairy so for me it's Magnesium, Vit D&K2 and strontium for healthy and strong bones. I was talking to a good friend recently about this and she came back with this reply today. I was surpised and happy to hear this from her.
((A few years ago I was in danger of losing an important ‘eye’ tooth in my mouth. My dentist said I could NOT afford to lose it. (It was getting ‘loose’). Dr. Ryan said to take strontium nightly, which I started doing. (Btw, I’ve read recently one should take Strontium away from calcium—not at the same time). The tooth tightened up and has stayed tight.)) Then she went on to say the dr who told her to take this reported that her bone density tests are excellent for a woman in her 60's as her dr takes strontium. Article | Strontium for Bone Health | Hoffman Center The eye tooth is important to hold on to and for mouth bone health sounds like strontium can be beneficial. I know enough do the implants and the bones need to be strong as I understand it all. My flipper is hooked on to my eye tooth. On the strontium, one needs to take it 2 hrs away from calcium...I'm starting to take it at bedtime now. It needs to be taken on empty stomach, no food, no dairy, no calcium and 2 hrs before or after the above. Do you own research, I know you all do. I'm back to being more regular with Strontium use as one of our members here reminded me about Strontium. I was lazy about using it. Thank goodness I have strong teeth, what is left, after yrs of dental work and not using good dental health practice. |

As in just about EVERY Medicine, there is the pharma side and the "alternative" side. Some I've read fear Strontium, well I fear the the drugs given to patients for osteoporosis and weak bones .. So we have to decide who we want to "hear" and go with. I've worked with "alternatives" for about 30 yrs and have no desire to take the lab made drugs.
Are strontium supplements safe? |
