Default Injection site pain! (Pic attached)

Hi.
I had a rct on molar tooth #15 which is the very last tooth on Sat(2 days ago) and I had a temporary crown on Thursday (4days ago) on #14 which is the second last tooth.
As you see, I have these red spots from injection ok Sat and the one on the top of crowned tooth(14) is hurting. I am not sure if it is from the dental injection when I had RCT on 15 or when I had a temp crown on 14.
It is hurting a lot and I cannot eat or drink because the spot is so tender.
Should I call my endo and ask or my general dentist and ask..?
It is giving me an ear pain, left side face pain too..

Maybe call your dentist first. Hope you get better.

Was the tooth that had the root canal infected? It's a pretty invasive procedure I bet your body is just healing. I would call anyhow just to ask.

Hi echbehay,

Your post is 6 months old. So this reply is for you but also for anyone wondering what that was on your palate.

In the photo, that area on your palate developed post anesthetic ulcerations or triggered a herpes simplex reaction.

It should have resolved within 21 days.
