Default Cavitations Issue

So here is the link of cavitations and pine bark and grape seed extract.

**
Composites Are Strong – and May Get Even Stronger (and You Can Thank Nature for That) - **
You often hear dentists who use mercury amalgam insist that fillings made with the stuff last longer than fillings made with tooth-colored composite. Of course, if that were true, it would be all the more reason to avoid them! Think of all the extra years of inhaling the vapors constantly...
**

Read thoroughly.

I think you need to read reputable articles on it thoroughly. It has been used for 150 years I believe for fillings. Some might be allergic to it. But it is considered to be safe. Mercury is found everywhere.

You think it's safe? More and more do not and I'm one of them.

Why not see a professionally trained dentist and seek his/her advice about your teeth?

In my view simple solutions are usually best.

Kiwi, I'm posting this for General info, and from reading on other groups about cavitations. I've done my share of dentists, and to be very honest, I have NOT seen a dentist for about 10 yrs, same with eye doctor and same with General MD for the year of 2020, on the GP issue. No GP appt in 2020.. I worked it so my two meds and refills go to March 2021.

And no MD can reverse the damage from hip replacement, so I do my own work.

Thanks to my supplement research and what I believe our bodies need.

I have a group of supplements for dental health. I may have posted this info in this forum.

A group for eye health.

And my all around supplements for general health.

Thank you..

Caroline, I have taught dentistry, pharmacy and medical students, in all cases only in their pre-clinical years.

Oh and wondering what that has to do with the way I take care of my health....I've seen docs, dentists and eye docs for MOST of my life up until 10 yrs ago. And I've been thru drug damage, surgery damage and BAD info from a lot of docs or no info. Like 10 yrs of thyroid issues that doctors did not help me, but kept handing out A/D drugs, when I think of it all and what I did NOT know but we learn when the time is there for us. Timing ...

Caroline,

It is great that you found a natural way to help your health. As some have commented, I think fillings aren't a bad thing. There are sime who are allergic to the materials used for the fillings.

Going the natural way can also be hazardous to people's health, including using natural supplements. I get your thought process of offering some a possible alternative solution, which is great. For some, there isn't enough that can be done to help. Genetics and other health conditions play a big role in it too. I do appreciate the information.

Best wishes,

caroline2, not seeing a dentist in 10 years strikes me as unwise.

Years ago I couldn't be bothered with dentists and so I didn't go to one. Nothing seemed to be wrong with my teeth anyway. Then I developed a twinge of pain in one spot but it would always go away.

No big deal, I figured. After all, it was going away, wasn't it?

So for a year I ignored it.

Then one day I did go to a dentist. I knew I should have been doing that regularly and decided to check in.

I had a badly abscessed tooth that had been causing those pain twinges. The dentist's comment when he learned that I'd had the twinges for a year was, "I wish you'd come in a year ago."

I had several root canal treatments that were sheer torture. Since then I've had several other root canals but they were a piece of cake compared to that one.

Then I had to have a crown on that tooth. Big expense there.

A couple of years later I lost the tooth anyway. The dentist said, "It was a root canal that failed. It happens sometimes."

Why not check in with a good dentist just to be on the safe side?

Agate: Unwise??? I've done my share of R.C's, bridge work, crowns, Yep yep yep, I did the dentist roads......and at this juncture in my life I made changes that work for me like reducing sugars/carbs and the dental product I use for TP and my antioxidants....works for me...probably not for dentists, they miss me, I'd bet...too bad I did not make these changes years ago, but as it's said Timing in one's life....it's all timing. And the sugar industry has kept dentists fat and happy $$$$.
