Default Wake up it's Wednesday

Good morning. It's a beautiful 68 degrees here. Didn't sleep well last night but the weather more than makes up for it.

How are you today?

Hi all,
I am back from the doctor, and she says I have GERD - Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease.....Gave me a list of websites to explore the ins and outs of this....I will have to change my diet quite substantially, as well. But, if it means feeling better, I am all for it. I am working on cutting out caffine (or at least reducing intake substantially.....) now, so that's a good place to start.

I have to go back in November, and will know then if I have to have an endoscopy or not, most likely not..basically just a barium (gag me) swallow study is what I am possibly looking at. She put me on Zantac and Nexium (with pending approval from my medicaid) and told me that if that makes me feel better, we don't have to really do anything more. Most of my doctors are at U of M hospital now.......just because they are better than the ones in town here.

Mood wise - doing a lot better today, because my neighbor and I talked and settled our differences. I guess she realized the tension, too, because she's actually the one who brought it up, not me. Funny how things just work out sometimes, ya know?

Physically, I think my problem is that I am just tired. I slept from about 9pm last night til 6am today. Sometimes we just need that....I feel somewhat better physically, as well. Hope everyone has a fantastic day today!

I am exhausted as usual today. Too tired of hearing myself say that I am tired. Every day that I am not at work, I spend dreading going back to work. I wish I could just sleep forever.
