Unhappy I wish I had time

I wish I had time to spend with my neices and nephew again. I feel so bad. I'm busy all week attending classes and doing homework that I can barely keep up with all of it. Then my neices and nephew really need me and now I can't spend the time with them because I'm just too busy. One of my little neices has been stealing again and she's playing sick all the time again. I know it's because she needs more attention but I just don't know how I'm going to do it. I feel so bad. Last time she was doing this I started taking all three of the kids on Friday afternoons so that they could see me and that worked so well. Now that I can't do that she's acting up again. I don't know what to do. I just feel so blue now.

Oh, Wishful, I wish I knew the answer to your problem. I know how guilty it has to make you feel. It seems we all feel guilty anymore for one reason or another, but it's children who make us feel guilty the most, because we know that they need us, that they're growing up without the attention they need, and we feel like it's our fault no matter the reason. All I can say is follow your heart, because I know you have a good one. I hope it turns out okay.

Wish
how old is your little niece?

if she is old enough to Instant Message, maybe you could stay in touch with her that way?? Just a thought.

you have such a caring heart
It is very hard when we feel torn between work and the desire to give more of ourselves to those who need us...I know the feeling all too well

I hope there is a way you will be able to reach a balance in being there for her and still taking care of your responsibilities to yourself and your studies

My neice is only 7. She's too young to do instant message right now. Besides I'm not sure if my sister has internet at her house or not any more. Its a good idea though! Thanks! I will keep searching for someway to try and fix this problem.

Wish, I hope you find a solution where you can spend more time with your nieces and nephew. As everyone says, you have such a caring heart.
