Default Mental Exam Dr. Diagnosed me with Depression and Anxiety

I had my Mental Exam for my SS disability, I have not been approved as of yet.

Dr. Diagnosed me with Depression and Anxiety.

Told me afterward the exam, I did have depression, but probally had it for a long time, since Social Security sent me there for the Mental Exam for my SS Disability, is that good for my case?

Dr said he will recommend therapy and meds.

I heard normally they dont tell you the result, but he said he wanted to tell me.
I also know I failed the memory test.

I am about to loose my home, I have no income at all.

I have heard that people do get approved to clinical depression. Since he's recommended Therapy, that is probably good. I can't say for sure that you will be approved. Is this your first try for Social Security? Many times people get denied the first time ~ but I've heard of people being ok'd right off the bat. I had to apply 3 times before I got approved, and it took an Attorney to get it for me, even tho I can barely walk!!! I guess it depends on their mood! LOL

If you do get denied (which you probably won't), but just in case, hire an attorney ON CONTINGENCY, so you won't have to pay anything. That way, they'll take their fee out of your back pay (25% and no more) and you'll be SURE to get approved and 2nd time. Attorney's seem to know how to get it for us. I don't know why. God bless and take care.

PS. Let us know when you get approved, ok??? hugs, Lee
