Angry No more therapist

Dr therapist won't see me any more and says no one else will. I beg her after being sent away but no she says, no!

I wonder maybe she is right.

Hi --Your therapist is NOT right! Sometimes the therapist we are seeing is NOT the "right" therapist for us. There are times we need to switch therapists until we find one that we can relate to. It sounds like the one you're seeing now isn't the right one for you -- she doesn't sound very compassionate or understanding. Find another therapist, and see what happens -- and if THAT one doesn't feel right, then go to another and keep switching until you find a good one.

I'm sure you'll find one that you feel good with. But please don't give up. I wish you the very best. God bless & take care. Hugs, Lee

Thumbs Down I can't blieve, ANYONE, would tell you that you can't find a therapist!!!

This "woman" *shouldn't* be a therapist, herselff!!! She may not have been the correct fit for you, sweety, but, I promise, you'll find one if, you *don't* listen to that "therapist" and keep looking!

Oh this dr therapist is "the" one for we women professions in government circles. She is hot stuff. I was five years getting up to her. I got my personal assistant because he heard I was patient of this very popular dr T! This boy is cross dresser and believes must see her for promotion and will leave my employ now I bet.

No she is very good but we dont fit you are right there. No fit ok but no letter is not. I need letter or no new Dr therapist will take my papers. How can I make Dr thearapist give me letter saying I am good patient with good prognosis for me to give new Dr T?

Thank you, Phyllis, for any helping here. You are good with these things I bet.

Default Hello just sad

This person lacked compassion. The doctor who dismissed you is not the right one. Please do not give up, and find another who will listen to you. Not all therapists act that way. I do not know the circumstances, I just know that I would want to be treated better, especially being sad or depressed in a big way. You need support and a better person to help you. Keep posting, you are always welcome here at Neruo Talk. I hope you can make a few new friends. Post to any part of the forum you want to. There is one for spiritual support too. This is a kind and loving group we have here, so feel free to look at some of the threads. ginnie

Default Hi just sad

Neuro Talk was created to help people. No joke, I really needed this place of comfort too. You are not alone. Keep seeking help, beat down doors if you have to. Ask some therapist to please listen. Of course we will be here for you too. Try to have a good day, and maybe watch the big football game. ginnie

How about asking your regular doctor to refer you to someone else?
Once you get there, then you can tell them about this previous creep.
Who is she to decide whether you get more treatment or not? Not right. Maybe not legal. Don't give up. There has got to be a way. Call for an appointment and don't tell them you're changing over from her. Your medical past is YOUR business, if you don't want to share it, you don't have to. Patient privacy rights. Or just tell the new place, we didn't fit well, or I wasn't comfortable with my last doctor, and if they ask who, just say, I'd rather not say right now so as to get a fresh start.

gggrrrrrrrr! I hate doctors who confuse themselves with God.
