Default any advice

Well Christmas is over, thankfuly I must say. I just paid Nov. house payment, a month late. Figured out we have $70.00 for the week for food for three, gas for my wifes car to get to work, and the dog needs food. Not enough there. So does the dog go without food? do we go without food? Still waiting for the dicision on my appeal hearing its been a month. I would put a bullet in my head if I thought it would help. But that would make things worse for my poor wife and kids. I cant afford to get my medication for my heart palputations, so I'll have to deal with them for a few days. I want to sell my truck, but my wife won't let me, we all ready sold our boat . I have a big heater in the garage I am trying to sell, but have'nt had any luck, I tryed craigslist but had nothing but people wanting to scam you. I have a plow truck I could sell, kinda would **** us if we get alot of snow, but I can't get it started.. OOOO well thats it just wanted to vent a little, don't have anyone to talk to about this stuff. Please don't respond with go to a food bank because I dont have the gas.

Default Hi Bretd

I hear you. I am going to loose my home so I do understand your situation. Call a local church, or community center. They can and DO deliver food to you. The food bank near me is only minutes away, so I do drive there. Reach out for help, your family needs to eat and so does your pet. Hot lines also can give you #'s for possible help. I will keep you and your family in my prayers. ginnie

Smile Hi bretd

The waiting can be the hardest part. Hopefully you will hear something soon regarding your appeal.
Ginnie always has the right thing to say.
I wish there were more options on getting help when people really need it, especially during the winter. It shouldn't be this way in this country of ours.
For what it's worth, I care.

Default Hi Bredt and Don

What bothers me, is that lots of people are going through this awful struggle just to exist. God help all that get sick or need help, as help is hard coming. Why does our country bail the banks, car industry, yet here we are wondering how to eat.? This is crazy. I will have to go to the food bank this month, no question about it. If it were not for my neighbor who runs an animal rescue, my cat would not have food and litter. Why are the animal shelters on over flow? Same thing. I hope the new year brings peace to all of us, and that people in need get the things in life they need. That is my hope and prayer for the new year. Let our government stop all this stupidity, and get with the program and on a better track. ginnie

Hi there- we have so been there with worries financially, food, etc. Do you have any family around that could help financially? Call St. Vincent De Paul's. They can give money, food, etc. They can also help towards making rent, house payments, paying utilities. Can your wife call off work to save on gas so you have more money? Can she car pool? Just some suggestions...

I too get angry that Americans are struggling, yet, we give money to foreign countries.

We have gotten through hard times by giving it to the Lord...he always comes through for us....Hang in there, we are with you on this difficult painful walk.
