I've been taking Cymbalta for several years and it works great for me. I take 60 mg daily for my depression and pain from RSD. I also take 30 mg of Vyvanse to boost it. I haven't really had any noticeable side effects from it, but that's just one of those things. For some people it works great, but for others it's horrible. I know my mom tried it at some point and it made her hyper.

It does tend to have withdraw symptoms though so try not to skip doses or let your script run out (I try to make sure I have about a week's worth of pills left when I go for a refill, because sometimes my pharmacy is slow). And if it isn't working for you I'd definitely talk to your dr. before going off of it, though no one in my family has had issues with withdrawal.
